(Unfourtantly for the pistons and its fans) Michael Curry will be returning.
I dont think this a good move, although Michael Curry led the pistons to the playoffs ( they did this on a 39-43 record which barely go them in), I think that I would prefer somebody with a little bit more playoff expericnece.First of all Michael Curry is only in his second year of Professional coaching, although it is his first year with the pistons, the pistons have too much talent for them to be freaking 39-43Â amd to not make past the first round of the playoffs.A Pistons team that opened the season with high hopes couldn’t recover from the loss of All-Star point guard Chauncey Billups in a November trade to Denver for Allen Iverson. Iverson’s past-his-prime game and pride proved to be a bad fit in Detroit.
The Pistons plummeted to the last spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs and were swept in four lopsided games by the Cleveland Cavaliers. For a team with players like allen iverson (1 of the greatest scorers ever), richard rip hamilton (great mid range shooter), rasheed wallace (great all around player), and tayshaun prince, they shouldn’t have droped less than 40 wins. Although allen Iverson and Rip Hamilton were nagged by injuries during the season , that is still no excuse for there problems
